This plump, golden turkey looks most inviting, with its even colour and glistening moisture. The aroma is rich and savoury, particularly from the dark meat. This follows through to the palate, with a rich, full flavour and adequate moisture. The judges applauded the depth and length of flavour in this turkey, particularly when tasted without salt.
A really delicious-looking, well-cooked turkey, this has fabulously caramelised browned skin. The bird looks juicy and plump with plenty of meat on the breast and legs. The meat indeed has a great gamey flavour and a really good texture. The brown meat has stayed moist and isn’t tough at all. It is a delicious, tasty turkey that isn’t too huge.
This turkey has a beautiful, golden appearance and a delicious, succulent texture throughout. The breast meat, leg and skin all taste fantastic. The breast meat has loads of flavour and succulence. A thoroughly delicious turkey that the judges really enjoyed tasting.
